The European Pyramid & Club Economy

Europe lives inside one big pyramid: from the lowest tiers to the elite. Your place in it decides not just your opponents, but your club budget.

One unified pyramid

European clubs compete in one dynamic pyramid. Each tier holds 12 teams with a 22-game regular season. Every club plays two competitions — its national league and the European pyramid — so one season gives you both local derbies and international battles.

Promotion & relegation

Tier champions are decided in the playoffs: the top 8 fight for the title and normal promotion to the next tier, while places 9–12 battle the Death Playoffs to survive. After the playoffs, a human-controlled team may also receive an optional Wild Card offer for a higher AI slot. Offers are prioritised by current tier, then final playoff place, and accepting is always optional. Relegation still shrinks your fixed budget base.

A Wild Card is not guaranteed promotion and does not replace sporting promotion. If an AI-controlled team is above you, your human-controlled team may receive an invitation to take its place in a higher tier — accepting or declining is your choice. Offers are prioritised first by the team’s current tier and then by its final playoff place.

Your tier drives your economy

TV rights and baseline sponsorship are tied directly to your European tier: the top tier pays the largest international base, shrinking with every step down. Climbing a few rungs changes more than your opponents — prestige, TV revenue, ticket sales and budget all jump.

Important: there is no such thing as a “country coefficient” — a country cannot lift all of its clubs automatically — growth is 100% merit-based, club by club. If one Slovenian or Lithuanian club climbs to a high tier, it thrives; the others build their own road at their own pace.
